The Irish Museum of Modern Arts presents
Within – Without 17 June, 6.30pm
Contemporary specialist soprano Elizabeth Hilliard and leading clarinettist Paul Roe join forces to produce a concert experience that will resonate around the walls and arches of the IMMA courtyard.Revisiting work we’ve performed before with fresh eyes and new perspectives – our concert includes James Wilson’s Windhover (recorded by Paul with the late Jane Manning), Ailís Ní Ríain’s End with Words of Hope (we performed this in our first concert together as part of Béal 2010), Jane O’Leary’s Due Voci (specially arranged for this performance), Matthew Whiteside’s … everyone is a child of the inbetween …, David Lumsdaine’s Fire in Leaf and Grass, and a brand-new work Within Without by Gráinne Mulvey.
