The Royal Irish Academy of Music, National Museum of Ireland and the Houses of the Oireachtas mark the centenary of women’s suffrage with a very special event in the Seanad Chamber, which celebrates the legacy of women composers and highlights the next generation of female composer from Ireland. Paul Roe and Sylvia O’ Brien wih perform Ailís Ní Ríain’s End with Words of Hope alongside music by Jane O’ Leary, Kaija Saariaho and Amanda Feery.
The event will be presented by Senator Ivana Bacik and will be recorded for future broadcast on Oireachtas TV. More.
